This really is a great beer. This is my most successful clone. It’s light tasting like most wheat beers but coloured like a brown. A blind folded a buddy and he couldn’t discern which was Erdinger’s and which was mine.
4# Pilsner Malt
4# Wheat Malt
8oz Munich Malt
8oz Carapils
5oz Chocolate Malt
1.0 oz Halertau 60mins
0.5 oz Halertau 30 min
0.5 oz Halertau 10min
Mauribrew Wheat yeast
Ferment at the low end of the temp range to minimize ester production
Mashed at 155. For 60min
