Emerald Spire hop is pleasant, fruit forward and delicious. If the smell of the cones doesn't make your mouth water the first sip of any beer with this hop as the star of the show sure will.
Developed by Oregon State University’s hop breeding program (part of their “Indie Hops” releases) and only recently released to the market in the 2020s.
Aroma & Flavor Notes:
Citrus: Vibrant, with notes of orange, grapefruit, and sometimes lime
Stone Fruit: Overtones of apricot and peach
Spice: Hints of black pepper and subtle, elegant spice
Resin/Pine: Classic American piney character, but more refined than “old school” hops
Floral: Underlying fresh-cut flower note

Known for clean, crisp bitterness and complex aroma with a distinctly modern fruity and citrus profile
