CBW® Golden Light DME (dry malt extract) is 100% pure malt extract composed of 99% Base Malt & 1% Carapils. CBW® Golden Light can be used in the production of all extract beers, and in the production of all grain beers to adjust color, flavor and gravity.

USE IN BAKING:
As DME is made from wort that has been boiled, the enzymes have been deactivated, perfect for those wanting to use it in baking. Non-diastatic malt powder enhances the color, flavor, and crust development of baked goods without affecting yeast activity. It's primarily used in yeast breads, like bagels and rolls, to add sweetness, a malty flavor, and a deep, rich crust.
