Lowers pH in mash. Add 1 teaspoon per cup of water. Can use up to 4 teaspoons.
Lactic acid is very effective at lowering water pH and is commonly used in commercial breweries. Typically used to treat sparge water as mash water is typically tweaked by grain acidity and salt additions. Use of pipette/measuring device recommended.
